Haglund's Disease with Clinical and Radiological Findings: 3 Case Reports

Objective: Haglund's Deformity is a variation of the posterosuperior region enlargement Os Calcaneus (OC) in form exostosis. It associated with Disease (HD), which encompasses Achilles tendinitis, retrocalcaneal bursitis, supra calcaneal and inflammation Kager fat pad. Diagnosis based on clinical findings radiological methods, such as lateral ankle radiographs, Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). This study aims to present three cases pain diagnosed HD using imaging. The mean age our was 44.6 years, two females one male. Patients commonly complaints swelling behind heel. Results: Physical examination revealed tenderness upon palpation over left OC tendon insertion. Radiological showed osseous protrusion part OC, indicating Deformity. Edema observed at bony prominence pad, heel area. treatment plan for all patients included leg rest splint, anti-inflammatory medication, physical therapy. Conclusion: In where traumatic events acute fractures are ruled out, MRI should be performed, Syndrome investigated if calcaneus along other suggestive HS.
